Processing time to receive Nomination?

Hi,

I'm trying to find statistics for how long it takes for initial Employer screening and then Employee Nomination to be processed, in regard to Ontario specifically.

Can anyone share their timelines? The Opportunities Ontario office stated it would take up to 8 months (4 months for each process) but that seems absurd.

absurd? be thankful it's 8 months.....mine is 17months....and it has been 7 months and i have yet to hear from my visa office =)
