Vaali, I wonder if you could explain me what you mean by the below status coz I don't see anything within my CIC log in.

I can see only one thing that is Application received. Plz let me know I beg you....

vaali - we did provide proof of communication when we sent in our application but we only had a few months of proof before we sent it in. by written explanation they wanted us to explain what status he held in UK, the visa, and when he had arrived and departed from there.

do approach your MP for a status update and visit the embassy before your medical expires. we visited the embassy few times before our medical expiry to find the status of our application.

another piece of advice, the embassy will most likely request an updated police clearance if it has been one year since you have sent in your application. we were requested to submit a police clearance for the year our application was in process. it is best to be aware of this so you are able to provide the clearance as soon as possible if they request it.

Hi Selvi,

could you tell me whether ur husband submitted the police Clarence since his birth or 18 years? and also, what you mean by updated clearance? that means only for the missing period after the application of PR or a new certificate from since birth again?

, frust i know ur feelings well .i experinced the same specially in 2011 i suffered a lot lottttttt cant explain i wanna cry . now im kinda fedup .my hubby in sl also feels the same u do now but what can we do otherthan asking God .none can help except God . I miss my hubby a lottttttt . i just spent one month with him. as vaali said i also have the feeling that i ll hear the good news soon . pray for me friends . it depends , don be discouraged guys. i pray for u guys that u wont suffer like me.

what I've updated on the side of my name doesnt show up on the ecas status...Its part of this forum, that I filled out for others' information.
my ecas just shows application received on November 18, 2011 and that medical results are received under my husband's name.

I know them are the part of this forum, but I was confusing that you might get these responses from CIC.
BTW,
r u sure, Vaali? I guess they have started to work on ur application. u know y? coz ur hubby's status comes under "Decision made". If you go n check FAQ within the log in u can read it.

CIC received my application on 15 of Oct, 2011 but there's no change under my status. My status shows "Application Received" and my wife status shows "Decision Made"but When my wife applied she attached my Medical and police certificate with my file, but there's no such status like ur hubby has. I m so sad n guess they haven't started to work on my file.

hi guys . no news so far .2 days of this week have passed 3 more days to go .they started processing my file on feb 10 th so its been 12 days .since i did my remed its been 65 days . im soo excited now , bit nervous too :s

My husband's status says, Application received. It says "decision made" only under my name...just like ur wife's.
I am the sponsor-the wife. lol
When did your wife get her letter that she is approved as sponsor?
@ sharmi...im excited for you too...u know its a big deal when ur status changes from "application received" to "in process" after so many months!!! so they actually must have started working on it!!!

Sponsorship Application Status
We received your application to sponsor Thavaxxxxx Thexxxxx on October 15, 2011.
We sent you a letter on January 7, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Permanent Residence Application Status
We received Thavaxxxxx Thexxxxx's application for permanent residence on October 15, 2011.


PS: My wife applied for Quebec Selection Certificate on behalf of me in January 2012 and received the certificate just couple of weeks ago.

Mine is very similar to urs Frust, Its just that under my husband's status, there is one more line that says, "Medical results received" as well.
I am just 2 weeks later than you...lets wait and see...
