processing of caregiver in singapore to canada

Hai everyone, anyone in this column who tried applying in Singapore for live-in caregiver in Canada can you share your experiences, the requirements, and forms to be used. Actually i am planning to process my papers in Singapore going to Canada, I dont know any agency in Singapore accepting my situation as tour just to process my papers there. Thank you!!

Hi there.. I applied my visa in SG but not under care giver.. Technically it takes 5months to process here but you will be lucky enough if it progress sooner than the given timeframe. If your lodging your application being a tourist here then you must have at least 5-6months social visit pass. But I also dont know whether that will be allowed as when I applied I had to provide my work permit pass here in SG.

Hi Solace, Unfortunately you can't log your application to SG if you are tourist. You need status in SG (eg. Work permit etc..) otherwise they will refuse/return you application if you are in social visit.

i thinks its not possible because according to the web processing time takes 4 here in sg and as a tourist you can only stay 1 month or if you extend another one month. its just my opinoin. i applied as a live in caregiver an just submit my req last april8 and theres no update yet. wish u all the best on you plans
