Process time

Hi all,
I am Khan from Pakistan. I applied thru short application in Aug, 2008. Islamabad approved my case in May, 2009 and ask me to submit full application within 120 days. I complied the instuctions in time and submitted application to CIC Islamabad in sep, 2009. Its been over three months now but I have nt recieved any thing from them- not even the acceptance of my application.

I am worried about it. Can any one comment on the situation or have any advise? Thanks

I believe you sent it under simplified application process which usually takes time. You can send them a case specific inquiry and ask them the current status of you application.

U need to wait a bit more.
Generally it takes 4-5 months' time to elicit anything from the CHC, post 2nd stage of apps. Give another 1-2 months' for admin reasons, thus by Feb-Mar 2010 u should be getting ur meds, InshaAllah !

Sonu, U must be a 2009 case. These r diff, faster & mind blowing.
If not 2009, u r pretty lucky & an envy for all.

Hi Everybody,

This Forum really works! I Thank rocky272727, qorax, Sonu, commonwealth and rupeshhari for supporting comments and advise. Infact my online immigration status is appearing same as "In Process" since I applied initially under simplified process back in August 2008. Do they really take months only for acknowleding receipt.?
Any how I am waiting and hopes best for each one of you.

I don't know about other visa offices. Usually Buffalo doesn't take that long, at least for post-dec applications.
In process is a good sign.
