Im coming to Canada on Thursday under an IEC visa. I have already got travel insurance for the length of my stay.
However the company im going to be working for is strongly encouraging me to get inpatriate insurance too. As I understand it the travel insurance for the IEC only really covers emergency situation, so not a trip the dentist/doctor for a check up etc.
Can anyone recommend me some inpatriate insurances (ideally on the cheaper side) as I will be there for 2 years and the one my new employer has suggested seems quite expensive... (they suggested it until I could get a RAMQ, but as i understand it being an IEC person means i cant have a RAMQ)
P.S im going to Montreal if it makes a difference...
