Pregnant live in caregiver!

Hi everyone! I need some infos please help!
I am pregnant now no problem with my employer. My only concern is that after giving birth im planning not to file a maternity leave since my employer is allowing me to work with special treatment since i just finish giving birth by that time. Im just curious is it just ok? And also they are very willing to let my future kid stay with me while working. The reason that i dont want to file for a maternity leave is that i have a family to support wayback home. I just want to know guys if these arrangements will be ok and i just want to make sure that i will not have a problem once i applied for my PR thanks and hoping for your help!

It's ok if you will not claim for maternity leave,but my concern is that who will going to take care of your baby while you're working..or do you have a family to look after your baby during the day..and also you need some rest even a month or two after giving birth,you can file even a month or two,it will not going to affect your pr as long as your employer is willing to help you until you file your PR,it will only add to longer completing of your hours..maternity claim is part of your benefits..you can still apply for PR without questioning you about that..

Thank you so much for the reply! I have another question, how if after let say after one month i decided to go back to work but my employer allow me to work and live with my kid here in my workplace will that be possible?

it's up to your body if you can back to work at that time..

how long do you have to wait until you can apply for open work permit?

work until you can,until 8 months if you can,at least you need to move more so you can have a safe delivery...and look for a family doctor who will accept to see you during your day off so there's no need to ask your employer to give you a day off just to see the doctor,so they will not feel that your pregnancy will take most of your time.take some folic acid everyday and materna.and hopefully you're not sensetive while you're pregnant.

and try to look for a day care or child care or someone who's stay home mom or grandma that's willing to take care of your baby even for 8 hours,along the area in case you need a back up in one of those days that you're very busy,(anyway you will get money from the government,so use it for everybody's good)and your employer needs all your time for a certain day,so they will not going to change their mind to keep you and your baby..

I will be due january 2013 and i can apply for my open work permit(if i didnt get pregnant) on july 2013. So in short it will be ok if my employer wants to keep me and my baby am i right? Anyway the baby cant move much for the first mos

yeah that will be fine as long as it's ok to them...yeah as long as you will let your baby to stay in the crib all the time then things will be fine..

always pray for your safe pregnancy and for a healthy baby..and hope things will be better until you got your open work...

Your lucky to have employers as supportive as them.. im a filipina live in caregiver working for a filipino employer. im not pregnant,atleast not yet... but as soon as my employer found out that i have a boyfriend who's also here in canada. they told me straight to my face that if i get pregnant im out of here.

Hindi naman siguro hassle as long na support ka ng amo mo until maka apply ka ng PR. The thing is madadagdagan lang ung 24 mos na pag aantay mo . San ka dito sa canada?

mag pills ka...humanap ka ng doctor at humingi k ng reseta para sa pills...at least sigurado ka..mahirap mag take ng chance lalo at hindi supportive ang amo mo at ang mahirap pa bago ka pa lang dito...di gaya ni Jeebrel malapit n syang matapos..don't take chance..wala naman mawawala sau kung magpakabit ka ng IUD o mag pills ka..sa akin suggestion lang kesa kabahan ka kada buwan kung mabuntis ka o hindi db?

Why do u think or assume that u will get pregnant? Dont get me wrong, habang di pa naayos ang papers mo eh wag ka muna magpabuntis pero kung pr/citizen na ung bf mo dyan sa canada eh choice mo un. First u must do is mag-ingat, temporary ka pa lang dyan sa Canada at hanggat maaari eh wag ka gumawa ng ikakapahamak mo. sayang nman ang pinaghirapan mo makapunta lang dyan di ba. just be smart enough sa mga papasukin mo.

Kinukutuban na ako na buntis ako and true i took a test and it's positive. went to the doctor and yes im pregnant. andto na to i have to face this.
