Hi Guys,
I have query on medical exam. I got my ITA on 23rd oct 2015 (got nominated on 22nd oct 2015 by OINP).
CIC requested a medical exam for me for a new work pemit which is in process by my company. I have completed the medical exam on 24th Oct 2015. I asked the doctor in that hospital and she said I could use the same medical report for my PR. please confirm can I upload it for my EE PR ?

You'll need to repeat medicals.

Do I need a medical exam to apply for permanent residence, if I’ve already had one for my permit?

Yes. Even if you had a medical exam previously, all applicants for permanent residence must have a medical exam.

A medical exam is needed to make sure that:

you pose no health risk to the Canadian public and
neither you nor a family member will place too much demand on Canada’s health, education and social systems.

It does not make any sense. I have done the medicals for CIC and it includes x-ray. even the doctor did not suggest have the frequent x-ray. this medical exam is taken after my ITA and the doctor said that I can use the same .... but any way thanks for your response.
