PR Obligation if living with Canadian Spouse and Canadian Kids Abroad

Hello,
I obtained my PR status in Jan 2013. My wife is a Canadian and both my sons were born in Canada. We do have a house in Canada, but currently residing in Pakistan. My wife is self employed and both my kids are studying in Karachi, Pakistan. How do I maintain my PR status ?
Are the number of days that I live with my Canadian family abroad count as qualifying days towards PR obligation. I want to maintain my status of PR. Please advise.
