hey quick question
if a permanent resident is living with his canadian citizen spouse outside of canada for a while ,do they need to come to canada for their pr card renewal, or they can do it online?? as the pr residency obligations does not apply to them. (basically mother is the candian citizen and father and kids are permanent residents.)
1.)So they need to come after every around 5 yrs for their pr card renewal??
nd
2)if yes, while entering canada after so long , do they need to show any other documents to the immigrating officer?
3)also his spouse(canadian citizen) needs to accompany them??or just father can come nd get it renewed for himself and kids? or is it mandatory for all of them to come

Yes you need to return to Canada to file your renewal and likely to pick up the new PR cards. multi entry PRTD would make more sense.

This is a very different scenario than you have previously posted about. If your husband and children plan to land and then return right back to India you may not be able to count the time as you accompanying them in India.

The children should be fine. Is the PR only in India because the Canadian spouse is working there? Has the PR spouse ever spent any time living in a Canada as a PR and moved because the Canadian spouse needed to go to India for work or family reasons.
