PR Landing for Inlands

Hello Guys,

I was wondering how can a person who is already in Canada do his landing? I am residing in Ottawa right now and i don't have US visa so i can't cross US border and comeback to Canada. Is their any other option beside taking an appointment with local CIC? can some one share their experiences specially those who are in Ottawa?

You can call the CIC call centre and make an appointment to land at a CIC office in Ottawa. There might be a few weeks wait.

You can also land at the US border without a US visa. When you cross over and arrive at the US side, you tell them that you do not have a visa and do not wish to enter because you came for Canadian immigration business. They will turn you around and you arrive back in Canada and land.

Although, 10 years back my friend had inland processing and he went to pick up his PR at CIC office, and thats it, he was landed - he didn't have to go anywhere to land
