Today I got a letter from the government stating "We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Canada Immigration Centre in Vancouver will contact you to arrange an appointment for the finalization of your permanent resident application".
The interview is set for the same day I am supposed to give birth to my baby, next week, and the interview is taking place about 4 hours drive from where I live. The chances that I can make it to the interview are very slim. After 16 months of waiting for this interview I am going to try to do my best to be there but I will probably be in hospital and will have to reschedule the interview.
Shall I inform the government right away or wait for the day of the interview and hope to make it? How long would I have to wait for another appointment? Do you know if it's usually a long wait before they will call me again? Thank you!
