In your Portal 1 email reply, you already confirmed the date of the last time you entered Canada, so the safest thing to do is to wait until you get your eCOPR before travelling. If your travel is really that critical, you can always reply to their P1 email and mention your expected date of return to Canada. This is the information that I know of based on the docs that we received from IRCC, but there might be someone here who experienced going out in the middle of PR confirmation without problems and can offer their insights.Hey, guys! Is anyone in the same boat or has any advice? We are supposed to be going to a wedding at the end of January, and we still have valid Working Holiday Visas until next month, so we were thinking of just entering back on them. Is that the right thing to do, or will that cause some issues?
It seems that Portal 2 is taking a long time, and we can only assume that the disruption of time off at Christmas has caused some delays. Is there anyone with similar timelines who is still waiting?
Decision Made: 26th November 2023
Portal 1: 5th December 2023 (issued by VO Montreal)
Portal 2: TBC
eCOPR: TBC
With regard to the Portal 2 email, try sending your P1 reply email to other VOs as well. Others have done this, and they immediately received positive responses. But note that receiving eCOPR after P2 is another thing. Though there are a lot of cases I am seeing that Calgary VO has been ultra-fast in processing eCOPRs!
