PR Card form - Current address vs Mailing address

Hi All,
While preparing for the short landing & filling in forms etc, observed that the PR form , had 2 questions

Question 12: Your Current Residential Address in Canada
Question 13 : Your mailing address (if different from above)

Answer 12 : Because we plan to give a friend's address for the PR card, so we will mention that as "mailing address"
Answer 13: Because we plan to stay in airbnb booked accommodation , do we give that as the "current" address or should we give our friend's address for both ?

Personally thinking its a kind of lie, so we should provide separate addresses. But looking for ideas , as we want to asked as less questions as possible when landing

The form you are preparing is probably for renewals. You would be ask for the address when you meet the immigration upon your arrival.

You will not fill a PR card form at the border. You will simply be asked for an address they can send your card to. Just give them an address then. A lot of people give the address of a friend. That is only "half-clean" as you point out but it seems to work for many. However, if asked directly, never lie to a border officer.

I thought we should take that pre-filled.

No, that form would be pretty useless if you brought it. IMM5444E is for when you want a new PR card (either after five years or because you lost it), not the first one.

Yes no form required. Immigration officer would ask for an address, which could be your friend's. That's all.
