I am currently working in Canada on a OWP for a year now.. My spouse recently came to Canada on a visitor's visa. I am eligible for PR under Canadian Experienced Class.
My question is:
- Can I apply right now with my spouse's on a visitor's visa?
- And can my spouse stay in Canada while our PR application is in process or does she have to move to back to Our country of origin for Medical and other processing?
- Or, would it be a good idea if I apply for her work permit before and then apply for PR once she gets her OWP (on my work permit basis).
Any help/suggestions in this regard will be highly appreciated.
