You can apply for restoration of status as visitor, it costs $150 I believe but at least buys you time untill you get your passport back. That way you will be able to stay in country on implied status.

My PR application has been approved and my passport sent on the 24th of Dec 2016 arrived ottawa on the 29th Dec. My BOWP permit application was denied and am now out of status what can i do not know what to do am so confused i would appreciate ur advice on what to do Kindly Help. :-\

For those whose return tracker got activated, could you please tell me what time was it activated?

I am getting little worried here as my return tracker is not activated yet.

you're not alone. mine is not activated too yet. received at Ottawa in Dec 23 and no update until today. let's be positive we will get it back soon.

Uhhh, how do you make an appointment at CIC to get it validated?? I sent them an email via case inquiry to set up an appointment but they only sent me information about going to the border and doing it there instead. The closest border is 5 hours away in Maine and I don't feel comfortable driving in the snow (especially after this last snow storm). I also can't find a phone number for the one in Halifax online. Help?

There are mixed messages online about landing through international airport. You can call airport border custom to check.

Passport arrived ottawa Dec 23. MyCIC changed to application approved on Jan 6.
