Thank you, my application too shows as Date modified: 2016-09-25. I don't know if this date changes automatically with time or CIC does that.

It's more than three months now, my background check is in progress.

no no, thats not the date your application was modified, its the date that ECAS page was modifield, that date will appear on all application
