PR applicant under PNP for the month of AUGUST 2015

Hi, I had my medical done May end and was updated here by June. The website says it takes around 3 months after your Medical is received. Hoping to receive my PR any day now. I want to desperately change my job but my work permit is locked to my position and post. Anyone receive their PR who applied around August 24th?

My file was received on 25th August, 2015 and received AOR on 19th November 2015. I got married after applying PR in Feb 2016, later I updated my spouse details with Sydney office in April 2016.

Received Medical request, PCC and spouse questionnaire form to be filled on 1st June 2016. I submitted all the requested documents by 21st June 2016. (They requested to submit this documents by 1st August 2016 and reply to same email with soft copies only)

Medicals passed on June 15, 2016.
Background check - In progress

Hope we get PPR soon

today I read cic is moving on files...yesterday they requested ppr to people remaining from may, some of june and i think 1 or 2 from july...we r getting closer!!!

At least you are not that far from 15 months anymore. Than you have a right to bug them about when you will get PPR

I think if you receive AOR your myCIC already shows Review of eligibility was - Review in progress.

This however is great news - Background check was - In progress.

I honestly think this background check thing doesn't mean anything because when i linked my application to myCIC back in may/June (can't remember when exactly, I was one of first few people to link their applications on this forum) i had my background check in progress for about two weeks before it finally went to "Not Started" .

"not started"
"not needed at this time"
as many post saying it has been changed from "in progress" to " not started" or to " not needed at this time"

mine since I linked my application sometime in July has always said" not needed at this time"
