PPR1 to VISA Stamping (Paris & Islamabad) office

Dear All,

I have received PPR1 from Paris office in May end, the required documents along with the Passport photocopies were received at Paris office on June 3rd.

now based on above data pls tell me how much time will it tentatively take them to get passport requests from Islamabad office and completion of visa stamping.

i am planning to book flights in advance so just curious : so have few queries;

1 - is it advisable to book Tickets without getting visa,
2 - Tentative PPR1 to visa stamping (Paris and Islamabad office)
3 - which airline should i take i am considering (Emirates & Turkish)
4 - when would be a right month to book advance flights (also need to safeguard from ticket changing penalties).
5 - will i get visa stamped before august end ?

1 - is it advisable to book Tickets without getting visa, - You cannot buy a ticket without Visa , as Visa information is required by Air Lines , you can book / hold seats through agents , they can do so , as they have privileges granted by airlines to them for doing so

2 - Tentative PPR1 to visa stamping (Paris and Islamabad office) - Normally it takes 04-6 weeks

3 - which airline should i take i am considering (Emirates & Turkish) - PIA is the best , as it would cost Rs.30,000/- per person less than others , and PIA charges Rs.12,500/- for extra baggage of 23 Kgs , where as Emirates will charge around Rs.18,000 to 21,000/-.
Total travelling time from home to home in Toronto on PIA will be 21 hours , where as on all other connecting flights will be around 30 Hours

4 - when would be a right month to book advance flights (also need to safeguard from ticket changing penalties). - Fares does not change a lot , they varies max by 10%

5 - will i get visa stamped before august end ? - Yes , sure , Insha Allah

thanks for your response brother. well you can buy tickets without visa, visa information is not mandatory while buying tickets.

yes as per my research the process normally takes around 6 weeks. so i have decided to buy/plan tickets when i receive passport submission request from Islamabad.

Yesterday received PPR2 from Paris office. all is great but they still havent extended the landing deadline. its still the same even though i sent a clarification letter along with the PPR1.

now what do you suggest should i send them a inquiry or live with it.

Your visas will expire one year after the date of your medical examinations. However, if your passport or any of your family members’ passports are due to expire before this date, all visas will expire on the date that the first passport expires. You must enter Canada on or before the expiry date on your visas.
