Hi,

I have read some threads but haven't seen any info that goes beyond particular cases like "India" or "London".

The PPR is quite clear:

2 photographs for each applicant. Please follow the photo specifications at the end of this letter. We suggest you to take the instructions with you to the photographer. Photographs with different characteristics and sizes from the ones specified on the instructions will not be accepted by our office causing delays in the finalization of your file. For more detailed specifications, please visit: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/pub/pass-photo-spec-eng.pdf

Seems that 50mm by 70mm is the Canadian standard size for passport pictures, but in Mexico those measures are unusual and I am having too much trouble finding a photographic studio that works them. Some threads have suggested that normal 35mm by 45mm (used for Police certificate and initial application) are acceptable.

Does anyone have some insight on this?

Any thoughts will be thanked!
