Post Graduate Work Permit Processing Time (PGWP)

Has anyone got approved without receiving any email or message ? Did you receive a message later on or just directly your work permit by mail ?

Exactly ! It's almost 120 days now

This time last year processing time was literally 3 weeks. My friend applied in feb and got it in feb.

Why's the processing time so high right now? 4 months? Who even applies for PGWP in november? people either graduate december or may no?

I applied in November, graduated from a flight academy. there are a lot of other private post-secondary schools that have different timelines

Yes its an increase of only 1 day over last week. Hopefully they are processing more applications now. Lets hope for the best.

Yes, they hesitate but they do. I got hired to a permanent position in Feb with my maintained status expiring in Feb(120 days)....in the first week itself HR came back and gave me a notice of termination if my WP is not recived by the date mentioned the CICC letter...I called them and the agent sent me an email confirming that I can continue to work till they make their decision...I gave that email to HR and they were satisfied with it.
