Post Graduate Work Permit 7months and nothing.

Hey guys. I'm in the forum in behalf of my boyfriend who still hasnt heard from immigration regarding his PGWP application.
Here's the timeline:

Study Program : 4 Years
Graduated : June 2016
Application Submitted: August 2016
Study Permit Expires: July 2017

Status --- STILL WAITING.

We know this is waaayyyyyyyyyyy too long already .
I'm planning to sponsor him on Fam Class Common Law if this all fails but we really would have preferred the work permit process.

I think you can ask your application status by submitting case specific inquiry from your online CIC account and let them know that you submitted your application on .... and it's already passed processing time. Hope you will get reply from CIC.
