I am about to apply for a PRTD for myself and my common law partner using the portal. My question is:
Do we use the same portal account but create two separate applications?
I've initiated one PRTD application but not submitted it, and if I try to create a second application for my partner, I get this error:
Please note, you currently have an application in progress. If you would like to resume with completing that application, please visit the “View my applications” page.
I am wondering whether once I've "submitted" the first application, it will let me do the second one. Or should I just create two separate portal accounts?
My concern is whether they will review our cases together if we create two separate portal accounts. In the letter, we have clearly mentioned that we are common law.
Or would it be better to do a paper application and submit everything in one envelope?
