I've heard that only the FBI is required and that they will request the state if needed. Given that the FBI is the more difficult one to get, we figured best send both, it's not like they'll penalize you for sending more. Heads up...takes about 9 weeks for the FBI clearance

The weather is playing tricks on ppl, can you imagine the week I came was like summer and now there is freezing rain and flurries?! Besides that I'm busy on the job hunt and loving life with the hubbs. Looking forward to getting my pr card in the mail, it takes 6 weeks right? How are things with you?Hey you landed, what city are you in, are you loving it? How is the job search? Lol I'm like the police, ask nuff questions!

Ouch! The weather in Canada is so unpredictable!! if you are in Ontario then I saw the huge snow storm. Usually its us getting the snow storms till May but we have 20 degree weather..so I am suprised at that!!

Lol yes I landed yay!!...Welll I already have a job for more than 2 years now...I've lived here for 5 years so technically not a new immigrant lol...I'm in the Prairies sadly..

How r u finding the job search though? I am glad you are happy and enjoying your life with the hubby

No I have no family here...I am all alone sadly.
Thats why I need to come to GTA...closer to home and closer to family. But I am scared cuz I heard the job market is kinda tight there.

It really is, however it is way better for you if you have a lot of experience in the field you are looking into. If you decide you really want to move you can start applying for jobs in the GTA now. That way you can see how many hits you would get on your resume. You can also apply to some agencies, company websites and things like that, if you need any advice on websites just ask me.
