If you resided in Australia, yes
It's relatively easy and something you can do online if you google Australian police check - it's about $45
Depending on where you resided you may need a driving clearance too - iirc it's Vic and Queensland that have this

No, i worked in the ship only that was sailing in Australian waters. i had only the transit visa just to join the ship and signing off the ship.So still i need to submit my PCC when applying under CEC?

It is really very easy now compared to what it used to be. It's all online and takes less than a week to get one.

The drivers history check for Vic and Qld. What if you lived in Vic but always had a NSW license. Would you still need a drivers check?
