police clearance certificate ???? seniors plz help

hi to all
i am bit confused about police clearance certificate
what shud i ask police
and what shud be the matter written in that certificate
i am talking of INDIA .PUNJAB POLICE
plz share

Hi Mohit,
You just go to police stat.. SSP Office ....and apply for police clearance certificate for immigration....they will check your record or visit to your place....it tooks around one month.

Mohit, if u r a NRI, it'd be easier.
Go to the Indian Consulate and apply. U'd get it in 15-20 days w/out any hassles.
