Police Certificate Pakistan - Spousal Sponsorship

Hi,

My husband who is the applicant in Pakistan went to apply for Police Character Certificate (PCC) at Islamabad Police Station but they denied and asked him to get it from Abbottabad. The permanent and residential address on his CNIC are Abbottabad's address where his family home is, but he spent the last 10 years of his life in Islamabad and a few in Lahore.

My question is what should he do in such situation? I was thinking maybe he should take some electricity bills in his name (his apartment is in Islamabad) and company's registration certificate (since his business is registered in Islamabad) to the Police station in Islamabad and ask them to reconsider his case.

How to Get a Police Certificate - Pakistan

Thank you Wakki. I am familiar with the process of how to get a police certificate as I became a PR holder just 2 years back.

However, I would appreciate if somebody who went through the same scenario as my husband could provide input on this issue. The issue is that the police station of a city (Islamabad) denied to give a certificate to him due to the reason that address on the CNIC was of a different city (Abbottabad) even though the applicant has been residing in Islamabad for more the last 6-7 years.
