Nov. 3, 2016 OINP inland still waiting.
got resume/CV request on Feb.23, and nothing since then
bridge work permit is about to expire at the end of August
don't know if I should apply for another bridge permit or keep waiting for this hopeless PPR

Same - October 6th it was received but still no update. Did our medicals a month ago and they haven't updated our files with anything since they requested it

i had my medicals in December 2017, after that no updates whatsoever

That’s crazy seriously im frustrated now! Calling them saying everything good. Officer have all the required documents you don’t even need to send any additional documents or something just wait for officer’s decision. Even GCMS says PS. From june 3rd. In march it was saying ready for PS. Idk what alse they are waiting for?

Don't know, searched on this forum and didn't have any clue about the resume thing, people got this request can be from any country, live in ON, AB, or BC, in all kinds of occupation. But can be sure that usually add about 6 months waiting time.
My OINP is master stream, doesn't require job offer. So my bridge permit is not closed, but one restriction is employment only within Ontario.

Hi Guys im Dec 2016 and just found out been transfered to Montreal anyone ion the same boat even though im in Nova Scotia

As per my GCMS notes my file is also transferred to Montreal on June 07,2018. And Application status reason is In Progress-SPR.
I am Jan 12,2017 Applicant.Do you have any idea why file transferred to Montreal Office ?

I am not in Quebec .

Dec applicant, almost 19 months. Called to CIC just now. They said security check not start yet and Could wait another one or 6 months, and they are still reviewing my police record (from another country )which I resubmitted last year September.
Anyone knows what’s the difference between background check and security check?
