Hi Guys

I am a april 2014 applicant. My timeline is..

1. we received your application 28 April 2014.
2. in process june 10 2014.
3. medical received june 2014.
4. reassessment of medical november 06,2015.
5. received medical results november 15,2015.

I have a question from you. if i am planning to go to my sister marriage next month which is dec. 12,2015. If i get my ppr before dec. 12, can i leave canada and send them passport from my country? Please reply.....

Well, you need to have your passport with you when going back to your country from Canada am I right? If you submit your pp from your homeland, I beleive you'll need to stay in your homeland and wait for it's return (which could take a while). Otherwise, you can finish your visit, attend your sister's wedding and risk the delay of submission of your pp until your return to Canada. Just make sure you can submit w/in the stated deadline of PPR.

This is just my opinion... other forum mates can enlighten us...

Depends on how long you are planning to stay there.

If you get a PPR when you are in a foreign country, you can inform CIC about this and request a VO change. This could take a while and after this, you will be asked to submit your PP in the country that you are in. You can do this if you plan for a long vacation in the country that you are going to.

NOVEMBER 2015 CIC Applicants to CIO for PR (all Provincial Nominees)

Hi,

CIC updated the forms for the application and claims its effective November 2015. But by the time I submitted my CIC PR application, what was online was the old form. I submitted Novembr 8, 2015.

Under the new form, the size of the required applicant pictures were bigger (2 in x 2 3/4 in).

I hope this will not affect my applilcation.

I am having the same sentiments. I signed the form NOV-23, CIo received it DEC-3, but I checked and the forms are changed as well as the photo specs, sometime in NOV. So I dont know if my application will still be acceptable.

Hello guys, i have some questions regarding the PR.

I was nominated by the MPNP on October 13th, sent my application to CIC office in Sidney, Nova Scotia on Nov. 29th, they received it on Dec. 2nd. I'm from Mexico and I would like to know what is coming next? Thank you guys!

If my understanding from what you posted is correct, you too were not able to follow the new picture sizes though we both submitted our application packages on the first week of November, 2015 (the effectivity month of the new forms/picture sizes).

Would you happen to know how we can send a set of pictures that follows the new size requirements? I don't have an AOR yet, hence I don't have any reference # UCI and application EP00.... number from CIC. Would that be possible?

I just want to avert any possible delays this may cause.
