Yes, I was able to link my account last Oct. Temp file number given was XEP002XXXXX. Now it changed to EP002xxxxx.
Thank you for your response.

My file received by CIC was on DEC 7, 2016. So hopefully in late Jan or Early Feb we should get it.

By any chance, do you see in your linked account files receive date different than actual they receive? They received my file on Dec 7, 2016 as per courier proof of receipt. But in CIC portal, it shows the date when I actually linked the account as received date. Please clarify!

Regards,
Parth

Hi all,
Happy New Year!

I see many of u did IELTS test.

I am in NOC2171 skill level A.

According to SINP and CIC I did not need to take a language test. I was reading it is only skill level C and D (like truck drivers, restaurant workers, etc.)

Am I right?

Thanks

Anton

While submitting PR application via express entry (online), need to submit medicals, PCC and also need to pay RPRF + permanent residence fees upfront.

That is correct! Not sure if it helps in expediting the process though.

Hello,

I followed what is written on SINP and CIC web site:

1) SINP link http://publications.gov.sk.ca/documents/310/85168-appguide-students.pdf
Students who have graduated from a Saskatchewan institute
1. You must have graduated with a certificate, diploma or degree from a recognized postsecondary
educational institution in Saskatchewan. The program must have been
equivalent to at least one academic year (eight months) of full-time study.
2. You must have a minimum language score of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 4
if your job offer is in a NOC ‘C’ occupation.

3. You must have worked for at least six months (minimum 960 hours) of paid
employment in Saskatchewan.
 Eligible types of work experience in Saskatchewan include on-campus, offcampus,
co-op terms, graduate fellowships that can be verified by your
institution, and work experience gained on a post-graduate work permit.
4. You must have applied for and received a valid post-graduation work permit from CIC.
5. You must have a current, permanent, full-time job offer in your field of study (from
a Saskatchewan institution) from a Saskatchewan employer in an occupation or trade
in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level “0”, “A” or “B”, OR
a job offer requiring post-secondary education.
6. You must have a valid SINP Job Approval Letter.

2) CIC link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=641&top=6
What are the language requirements for provincial nominees?
If you apply under the Provincial Nominee Program in a semi- or low-skilled job, the province will require that you have a third-party language test before they will nominate you.

This test will show whether your language skills meet a minimum standard in each of these four categories:

listening,
speaking,
reading and
writing.
To meet the eligibility criteria for one of the following skilled worker programs under Express Entry:

Federal Skilled Worker Program,
Canadian Experience Class, or
Federal Skilled Trades Program,

3) CIC http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/pnp.asp

-----------------------------------------------------------

In other words if I needed language test, SINP would bother me and will not give me letter.
If SINP approves you without any marks of test u are fine

These rules are false. Due to these confusing and false rules I didn't send my IELTS copy with my PNP PR Package (I am SINP OID nominated with B Type NOC) which delivered at Sydney on 24 June. They sent back my package and asked about IELTS. I re-sent it with updated IELTS and got delivered on 3 Nov.
Note :- Please don't read these false rules. I am a victim of this fraud.
