Finally got AOR email today and able to link application online. Application was recieved on 11July 2016. ;D

This confirms that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2016/07/12.

When should I contact CIC?

I was able to link my application online and here is the current status:

CIC cancelled my 24 June delivered Paper Application due to expired IELTS, and sent back it to me which I received on 20 Sept. I paid Processing fee $1400 for that. CIC haven't returned the amount yet. I have done IELTS again and preparing to re-send the application. Will I have to pay Processing fee again?

Ashuindian i think I have already answerd you about your query. Better you can call to CIC and ask that's the only best option I think.

I asked in my group and found you may use your old paid receipts. Don't worry it's not a big issue. Don't give up soon you will receive AOR and we will meet in Regina one day.

Hi, everyone

I just found out that I made a huge mistake in the application.

I sent the PR application in mid September. PNP is valid until end of December. PRWP will expire in mid February 2017.

I use the credit card as payment method in the application but lost my card 2 weeks ago and got a new one (card info is changed). That means when office staff open my package, it's definitely regarded as NOT completed and will return to me!!!!!! It's just worse cause that may happen in February next year and will beyond deadline of PNP and work permit.

I find the link below which allow candidate to update or provide additional information about an application:

However, I don't have a file number currently (obviously no AOR). Could I use this to update the credit card information? Or some other ways to fix that before they start to look into my package? They don't even has a contact number in the website for these cases.....

I'm so frustrated right now. Any advice is appreciated !

What a blunder mistake you did. I think it's possible by raising Case Specific Enquiry (CSE).
