If you are from a visa exempt country and here with a work permit then you only needed the Work permit to be here. Those here from non visa exempt also need a TRV (temporary residence visa). I think you are confusing a work permit with TRV and thinking they are the same but they are not.

So you do not need to send your actual passport.

You are right. I didn't know about TRV at all.Thank you so much for making it clear!!

As you said, you are from visa exempt country then you just have to send only photocopy of your passport.... gud luck..
