What is difference between Outland and inland applicants. I received nomination from Ontario and I am in India currently. Am I an Outland or inland applicant?

I believe it would depend on where you currently reside. If you are in Canada currently with a visa that allows you to stay there legally...they may seem you as inland. If however you are out of Canada...then you would be deemed as outland applicant.

You r outland... if ur current country of residence is canada then u r inland

Yep, you are an outland applicant, and it seems the process of outland is faster than inland.

Got AOR on July 20th for application received on May 4....unbelievable how long these guys take just to acknowledge that they received the documents....

still unable to like my file to CIC A/C, any idea guys as to why it may be?

Usually after receiving the AOR you are able to link. Just try putting in the UCI/Application no they provided in the stop down and you should get through. Otherwise wait a day or two and it should be accessible.

I got my AOR like a week ago for application receivied on May 1st. I linked my application online and on the details column it says "your action is required" but there are no messages or nothing? What does that mean? thanks guys

This is the same for everyone! Once there are no messages identified, you can ignore!!

It's stands for Acknowledgment of Receipt. It's the first correspondence from CIC that they have received your PR application.

You should receive a 2nd AOR (File Transfer) notification when this takes place. There you would see which VO will begin processing your application. The 1st AOR does not show that.
