PNP- PR ( CIC applicants SEPTEMBER and OCTOBER 2015)

Here is exactly what I have on my on line application status
We received your application for permanent residence on October 16, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 22, 2016.
We started processing your application on January 23, 2016.
Medical results have been received.

We got the medical request in April and we did the medical exams April 14th. I'm not sure when they got them, but I'm guessing they got them a couple of days after.
After that, we paid our PR fees and sent the police clearance from our country. It doesn't say anything about that on the status.
Supposedly 3 months after you do your medicals you get your passport request. Is been 3 months. I'm still waiting...

So, I think it's a positive sign for you. Even for late August batch few applicants posted that their background checks are not needed at this time; which I assume not started on those checks.

We both are inland. Pnp paper based. September application.
Don't know how they works.

Any thoughts on these background checks?!

You both getting your PPR request after doing every calculation on exact date Aug 22nd, 2016 Monday Morning by 9am til then Hands up in the Air
If anything came up before this date , it means you have too much lucky charm or anything came up after this date means CIC zzz on your files and eating pizza's on top of THAT 8) 8)

That's a long wait. I would suggest you to call Cic and ask them. You can tell them all other August & September applicants received MR. So may be they will sent a msg to your agent.

Are you sure that you have receive MR and did not do upfront medical check? Because it should be stated there that they have sent you MR before they received the results. October applicant here. I am expecting MR tomorrow or 1st week of August.

Hi roaringpanthers 12345 : "in Progress" status of my background check showing since MAY 24 after they received my PCC from Dubai, MAnila and Canada.. I don't know why other September applicants showing different status's we supposed to be all same stages. However I guess depends on whose CIC BF Registry agent handling the app, AM pretty sure yours and others are done already not been updated yet in the database.

I like that optimism you Rock!! however I agree with @roaringpanthers 12345 its not gonna happen, keeping my hopes easy and low because INLAND JUNE, JULY, AUGUST applicants still waiting for PPR (EXCEPT EXPRESS ENTRY).. Same timeline as me. Likely MR will be 31st July or first week of August.

By the way I am June 22nd Applicant, 2015 you can check my timeline on my ID here....
All this delay is only becoz people are ordering GCMS notes very often ,even a very few just order 3 times in just past 6 months 8) 8) 8) + Canada Post Strike+ 15 months processing PNP timeline + advanced medical done scenarios , so there are lot going on....last year it;s not like that and people patience finally pays them PR in just 1 year or less than tht....I know it's hard to be patient if you see others getting medical and PPR on timeline (every case is different but becoming impatient is not gonna to work at all too(People just ignore this act >>they Do something weird :'( :'( & outrageous for to delay of their own files much more )

five of my friends applied at the same time ,same day on june 22nd, 2015 , we received AOR hardly with the gap of 7 days ..received & DONE medical same day everybody ...only 4 get PPR I m the first one rest all(3 of others
) got in july 1st week..2 others still waiting...but they never order GCMS notes as a CORE fact = we all received medical after waiting almost 8.5 months from AOR date.. ..

Sometimes you have to wait just by doing nothing...^_^@_@
