BG means background check
BG IP means background check in progress
DM means decision made
PPR means passport request

background is conducted before PPR or DM. You can get PPR and then DM or you can get DM and then PPR

Awwwww.. really.. they r letting us hope.... i called the cic and asked them about my application.. and he said that my application is approved just today.. and its a good timing to call them.
