I believe you should be ok unless you employer informs PNP/CIC. Keep your head up!
Thanks for ur response. U don't think EI money will raise a red flag for my job loss and have a corresponding effect on PNP PR?

I'm not sure but I dont think it would trigger them to report your job loss to CIC because as far as I know, govt. agencies dont share information unless asked. Maybe you should ask EI if they have a policy to report to CIC/CBSA before you apply for EIThanks for ur response. Fingers crossed then I am may 19 applicant.Just called CIC. They said BG is complete on Oct 15. Waiting for file to be APPROVED. He said you can expect within 2 to 4 weeks. Even i noticed files taking 18 months . Makes more sense. He said there is no QUOTA. Even he advised me to wait for BOWP until first week of DEC. May 27 applicant. WP expiring Jan 19. Either Sydney or Ottawa can request PP.
There are 2 phases to BG check. The first one is for eligibility, the BG goes into in progress as soon as CIC starts processing your application to check is you are eligible for PR and blah blah blah. Then it goes back to N/A for a long time and then back to in progress just before PPR. Your buddy is just in the first phase of BG check. Don't worry yourself k?hi guys just a question is the BG in gc key should be not started yet at 1st?..coz I have this colleagues that just applied her PR last month and receive an AOR just after a month..then she link her applicantion in gc key and the background already says processing but she did not apply for EE..will it be possible that its really BG check?..coz i find it unfair if so..
ok i see its just that i did have an access to my gc key that is why i did not know that..and just envy her coz everything about her application was so fast..she got her nomination in 2weeks time as i waited 4mos..and same with the AOR i got it in 3mos..as her in a month..that is why..just really hoping mine be done soon too..There are 2 phases to BG check. You don't have to compare yourself to anybody. Different stages of application are fast depending on CIC. For example, I got my additional request (PCC, schedule A and the rest) a month after AOR. All of my friends that applied before me were telling me how lucky I was to have gotten it so fast. I ended up waiting forever for my MR while they got their MR pretty quickly. It seems to me that CIC is concentrating its effort on AOR right now. Doesn't mean the application will be processed any faster than yours.ok i see its just that i did have an access to my gc key that is why i did not know that..and just envy her coz everything about her application was so fast..she got her nomination in 2weeks time as i waited 4mos..and same with the AOR i got it in 3mos..as her in a month..that is why..just really hoping mine be done soon too..
I think your eligibility will retain its "processed status" till your application is approved. I got my GCMS notes last week, Eligibility, Criminality and Medicals were completed but my GCkey profile still says something like "we are reviewing your eligibility"and also wondering, everytime i call to check my status it says reviewing the eligibility but im done with medical isn't supposed to be the 1st stage or jist really like that and it will change when the BG started?..thanks..
