Yesterday I visited my MP Office and asked them to get some information about my application. Today(!) I got an answer that everything is passed. "The file now is waiting for final review". And I was asked to contact them again if I will not get PPR by middle of November. Will see...
And also it was amazing quick work by MP Office!

so they told you you should get something before Mid November?? Hope they are right. You and I have similar timelines..... also waiting for final review

Somebody posted this in the September Forum.

I don't know if that has any relation with Dakiles's MP information about getting something before Mid November.....

So I just got off the phone with CIC and I spoke to a very helpful agent.

He told me that there is no problems with my medicals but they will be doing a decision on my medicals, and background check all at the same time. The officer gave me a deadline til November 30 and he told me that by that time they should already have a FINAL DECISION. He encouraged me to phone back on the day after November 30 if I dont hear anything at all.

I am so glad I have finally came across an officer with a kind heart.

HE told me everything is looking GOOD so far and he wished me luck,

I have been thinking about it and just realized that mid november you will hit the new 16 months mark. So I am starting to think that as always CIC just pointed to the Processing times as guide. I dont know. Anyway, I hope at least we see some movement this week or next week. I can't believe they wont do anything this whole month....

I discussed with my MP office and they did a query for me. And I noticed they mentioned MP line called for this application status in my GCMS notes, they even mention the name with whom they contacted from MP office.

Anyways, I got a feedback from MP office that all passed except Security. and two week later got Passport Request.

I am not sure, but in my mind, it says, having a knock from MP office in your file is good.

I think it was a coincidence. I also contacted my mp and it shows on my notes as well but I am still waiting

My application reached 16 months yesterday. I called IRCC, one agent told me everything passed just waiting for final review. I told her I got this information in August. It have been final review couple of months.----
Anyway still have to wait

Frustrating..... they don't provide any useful valuable information
