PNP for Ontario: OINP

After reading "Application Guide: Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream" what I understood is that OINP searches the Express Entry pool and identifies potential candidates who may meet the criteria of the Human Capital Priorities Stream and issue Notification of Interest (NOI).

This seems to me that if I submit my profile in Express Entry I am automatically considered for OINP. But a reputed Consultant told me that I am not automatically considered for OINP. is it true?

You MAY be issued a Notification of Interest (NOI) by OINP if you meet their eligibility criteria. Just because you meet their eligibility criteria does not automatically mean you will be issued a NOI.

You cannot apply separately to OINP. When you create EE profile and indicate interest to reside in Ontario, Ontario searches the pool and nominate whosoever they deem fit.

OINP is yet to issue NOI to 410s. Hopefully soon, they will go lower and you may receive NOI.

hello everyone,

I am married and my spouse is here in Canada and i have got letter of interest from OINP.

when I created my profile I selected married but I did not accompany my spouse and my CRS score is 437.

this score is only built up by my profile only, not included my spouse points.

Should I submit my spouse documents or only mine?

what are the chances to get approval of my application in this situation?
