I have received MR today by regular post dated 21/08/12 and my Ecas started showing in process on 16/08/12.
Booked medicals on 5/09/12.

Dearest forum mates, I have received my passport request (PPR) this evening. This was 15 minutes after making my daily prayer/ novena. I immediately broke down in tears when i opened the email and saw the line "We are pleased to inform you that your visa(s) for permanent residence to Canada is/are ready to be issued," For a minute or more, time froze and it was amazing.

You guys are almost there Good luck to everyone and thank you for being a constant source of information and support this whole time.

Well Mayonnaise, looks like you are the harbinger of good news...Got my PPR a few minutes ago via email!

Am trembling now as I write this .... can't really describe now the emotions I am feeling....WHOOOOPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

May this be the start of good news to all and may this trend continue from this day!!!

I E-mailed Ottawa as it has been more than 120 days since I have submitted my medicals.

Their reply:

"Dear Madam / Sir,

This is in response to your email (see below).

Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum."


I am still waiting for them to send me my PPR...Its frustrating....

2.when did you get your AOR? What is your timeline? PNP?

I sent E-mail on Saturday, 25th Aug 2012, received my reply on 27th, Monday.

I submitted my ap on 28/2/2012, submitted my medicals on 1st may 2o12
