Hi PMM and Seniour Members.

ECAS Status: Visa Office Eligibility Review Complete is always a Rejection?

Some memebers are saying that one can get additional documents request after this status but i have seen lot of rejection only after this status. Can any one give some more information or guidance on this.

Visa Office Eligibility Review Complete means The review of the application and supporting documents has been completed at the visa office. A letter with addtional information has been mailed.

A Letter with addtional information is for what? (Rejection Letter or Addtional Information?)
I am note sure some one get Medical Request after this status (without In Process Status?)

Please provide comment of this so we can understand the process.

Be relax and just wait for letter reach to your home. If you are done with final application etc at all, then hopefully it would be "medical etc request" or any additional document request , in case if they need any additional information/documents etc. I don't think its refusal / rejection. If it was, the status should to be " A decision has been made on your application and a letter has been mailed to you about decision etc "

Thank You for your comment but i am just trying to understand the process and each step in new client application status.
I have not seen any person got medical or additional document request after this status so i just want to confirm with all members if any one come across this situation before and got medical/additional docs request.

Mt status are same like my review also completed & they have mailed me letter on 29th nov 2009 but the mail has not reached to my home it is almost 28 days
can any body sugget me that what will be in the letter rejection or approval

Hi Sainajeet & Desai,

My status is Visa office elligibility review complete. My rejection letter is dated 19/10/09, however the CIC London mailed it only on 19/11/09 and I received it on 12/12/09...
They don't hurry much.

My ECAS status changed to Visa Office Eligibility Review Complete on 07/12/2009 and I have not received any update from London CHC.
How do you know that they have mailed you letter on 29/11/2009? Do you mean that your ECAS changed to this status?
Let's hope for best until we receive any update from CHC.
VMPVMP, have you received any update from CHC new delhi?

I think visa officer will take decison and then it will authorise by senior visa officer or superviser then only they will send letter that is what i am assuming. Anyway, are you thinking to reapply now or what?

Hi Desai,

Missed to mention that my E-CAS even at present shows Visa Elligibility Review Complete.
I'm intending to re-apply in the middle of 2010.
I was contemplating to hire a lawyer for requesting review of the CIC decision/appeal to Fed. court, but they asked for 5,000 USD plus court expenses. This is too costly for me. Besides the appeal process takes a lot of time. May be is just better to re-apply on a later date.
I sent an email/fax to CIC 10 days ago, asking for review their decision. No reply and I don't think I'll get any. One of the expert members here (Qorax) told me that the decision is final and my file is closed. Therefore, chances for review are minimal.
I'm also considering applying to immigration in Australia. I'm waiting for their change of immigr. law, expected to be published on 31/01/2010.
But I prefer Canada! Canada is my love ;D

Sorry for the late reply.

I applied before the new Ministerial requirements were published. Some of my professional experience falls into an elligible category, and some of it does not. However, CIO Sydney recommended my application for further processing and I was requested to send a full set of docs.
Later on, CIC London rejected my application on the base that my experience does not fall into the 38 elligible occupations. (in spite that CIO seems accepted it as elligible)
I applied under NOC 1111 but have also implemented other clerk duties. My fault was that I mentioned them.

Hi Paritosh, Sorry to hear about rejection. I am expecting same soon but it has been more then a month since my status change to this.
When was your status change to this and after how long did you receive rejection letter.
Which is your visa office? What was the reason for rejeciton.
