I'm filling the application to sponsor my common-law partner now.
For the question 8 in the sponsor questionnaire form

Check ‘‘Yes’’ or ‘‘No’’ to indicate if you have resided in countries other than Canada.
If you answer ‘‘Yes’’, provide the following details:
Country
Address and telephone numbers (in the country where you lived)
Period of residence

If I was just traveling in that country for a week, do I still need to put it on the list?
Do I need to list my country of citizenship (I just became PR this June) for this question?

Thanks in advance!!!

My understanding is that you have to list all the countries where you where resident. Visiting for a week doesn't mean you're a resident.

If you lived in any other country (lived, not visited on vacation or on short business trips - where you had your name on bills and stuff), then you have to mention it in the form.

Same question but I have been traveling in Philippines for 6 years as a Tourist (classified as a temporary resident) during which time I have been living with my common-law spouse.

And so, need I put every address I have stayed at for a week? Or for a few months? Of can I just say '6 years at various residences traveling as a tourist' on one line?

Does 'indicate where you have resided outside Canada' refer to the last 10 years. or since I was 18, or my entire life (which would be an absolute nightmare to come up with all the addresses and phone numbers of every country I have lived in as I come from a Forces family who moved a lot).

If you traveled frequently to a foreign country, I think you should address that in a letter explaining that in detail and saying that there where to many instances to remember all the dates an addresses.

If I remember well, they are asking for all the places/addresses where you resided since birth. You should write the countries to the best of your knowledge and detail your situation in the letter. Just so that CIC understands that you are not trying to hide anything, but there were to many places to remember :)
