PLEASE SUGGEST COURSES RELATED TO ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING !!!!!

My Brother in Law completed his Electronics engineering this year and wants to pursue further education in Canada. Please suggest some post graduation diploma courses for him. I will be very greatful if any of the respected members can suggest me the colleges offering courses related to his field of study or any other fissible combination. He is trying to get addmission in Manitoba, Alberta or Saskatchewan but so far no luck as the agents in Punjab dont deal with the colleges in the mentioned provinces(this is what my BIL says). Please help me out.

no its not true there are some agents that do deal with the universities right in the province that you have mentioned in your post like there is Canam that executes the admission processing for the students who wanna get into the institution covered in these territories but I must say that don't trust them solely because everyone knows what these kind of agent's are truly meant for; filling their coffers .As far as I know they will tell you to apply for 3 colleges together at a time to increase the probability of getting an admission but they do sometimes(actually i think most of the time) cheat students by NOT actually paying admission fee to 2 of them and they intentionally do so for the cause that I have just written before.While they gonna tell you that you have been refused by two colleges but got an admission in the 3rd one,you must ask them to hand over the refusal letter that they have received from that 2 colleges.But actually its like spending the money ,thrice of what we call as regular admission fee to get an admission in one College.

So think before you take an help of agent or go wisely with them ....you know what I mean keep an eye on them what they are doing and get the whole worth out of what you pay them

Thanks for the reply JaiJai . Well he has been to many agents but they are all insisting him to go to Ontario and no one is ready to get him an addmission in the mentioned provinces. Also there is a lot of confusion regarding the course he has to take, so the visa chances are not jeopardised. I will be thankful if experts or current students can suggest some courses in harmony with Electronics engineering.

ya for sure but you do have to first tell me his percentage in the last study that he has just did over.

you can definitely apply to MSc program in electrical engineering at University of Saskatchewan.There is Graduate study office whom you can talk to abou recruitment process and here is the website and contact info:

Thanks a lot JaiJai and so sorry for being such a pain. This programme does look promising but he is not much sure about his english level and the entry requirement is 6 each. How about a PGD course or a course that has a duration of one year ?. I might be asking for too much but will be greatful if obliged.

you are not bothering me at all ,....even while I was new on this site i was looking for help too but i do wanna say it will be really better to go for masters instead of PGD as soon will wbe easier for him to get PR in Saskatchewan as there is specific category for master and phd degre holding applicants .try to give an IELTS exam just give it a shot for once and if dont get succeed then you may go for PGD but still recommending you to make him go for masters rather for Pgd...atleast can have a better job prospective with that,,,,,so what you would like to consider masters orPGD ...!

I really commend your thinking JaiJai and your points hold a lot of weightage . Even i would prefer him to go for Masters any time of the day but he is into PGD.He will be taking his IELTS exam next month but to be honest i dont have much confidence in him to crack IELTS. Now i dont know how people get that much high percentage in india without proper english level is another issue. This is the reason he wants to opt for PGD and ride a safe tide. Now that the situation is in front of everyone please suggest accordingly.
