I am one of the August 2016 intake. I started preparing some potential documents. I have 2 questions that i appreciate for people to comment on:
1- Employer Reference Letter: For some reason I had to take the letter from my current employer in beginning september. It says in the letter when i started working and that i am currently working with the company. The period is 10 years. Since we did not get the checklist yet, when we get them the letter will be 2 or 3 months old. Is that ok? It will be very hard and nearly impossible to get another letter.
2- Regarding translation. I read on the website regarding translations but i couldn't understand it fully. I live outside Canada. What does it mean translator of professional order? I have translations done by a SWORN translator and NOTARIZED by a notary. Is that enough? if not can i stamp it from ministry of justice and then ministry of foreign affairs? OR is it necessary that the translation comes from these minsitries?
