PLANNING TO SETTLE IN CANADA

Hello everyone,
My name is Priyank and I am planning to settle in Canada along with my wife, I am B.E.Elecrical and M.B.A. in Marketing and Diploma in Finance, with work experience of 7-8 years. I want to apply for PR. How will I get a job there? Should I apply from here itself or after getting there.Please guide.

Hi Priyank,

With the new Express Entry system in place, you will only be invited to apply for PR if you have a job offer in place. The points system is split into two blocks - 600 points for your age, qualifications, experience, English/ French language abilities etc, and another 600 points for a job offer. So unless you have a job offer, you'll have a maximum of maybe 400 points out of 1200, and that just won't be enough.

I qualify the Initial assessment, have applied for IELTS exam in December & EWS assessment...

Please advice for any job portals where i can start applying.

i don't think relocation to Canada all centers about money...some move because of the future of their kids,some move to get quality life regardless of the weather condition...while so many move because they think the streets of Canada are paved with gold and money is everywhere...and unfortunately many who never make it in Canada are those with that mindset to make just money and when they arrive and things starts to hit them in the face and reality of trying to create a life settles in they begin to regret.My advise is set your mind on what purpose draws you to Canada.Wish everyone success in our dreams.
