i agree with u hirap talaga mag antay. ako kasi august na submit ng husband ko application namin tapos Oct nag request na sila for our passport. kaso up to now wala pa yung visa namin. Baka parating na rin yung request mo. antay na lang. GOOD LUCK sa atin lahat!!!

Actually, right now we are still waiting for our application. It will be one year this month since CIC-Mississauga forwarded my papers to Visa Office Manila. We comply everything they needed as soon as we can. Just recently, last December they advise us to pay for the Right of Permanent Resident Fee since we didn't include it yet during the whole processing.

That's the latest of my application right now and I don't know how long are we going to wait again.

really? have you tried to follow-up it at Visa Office Manila? I think there's something wrong with it already.

Once your there at their office, they will give this piece of paper (Request to Follow-up My Application Form). You have to fill-up that form and send or drop at their address.

did you guys tried calling the embassy about your application? did you talk to one of their staff?

Yes, I did. I went to their office several times and they just said to you that it's a case to case basis and all you have to do is wait.

too bad we don't have any idea on whats going on with our application.. in our part, we still don't have the passport request.. waiting sucks.. well hope and pray that all our application will be approved soon..

i need some help.. iv been advised in one post about my problem that i should call or get CAIPS NOTES.. is this necessary? i really dont know the flow of this... can this CAIPS NOTES helps us in our application? i tried calling but they only have recorded msg.. i really want to know about if we have a problem about my passport.. and i read that any problems in your application will reflect in the CAIPS NOTES...

ang manila office po ay 4-8 months ang pag process nang applications. pwede po nyo check yung processing time ng manila sa web site ng canada immigration para mas maunawaan po ang processing at iba pang issues sa pag process ng applications.

minsan po madali na ma-process ang application dipende sa documents na pinadala ninyo. minsan pag kulang kulang ang requirements na pinasa ay talagang na kakatagal ito sa pag process. kung sakali po nag pasa na kayo nang mga required papers para sa application ay mas maganda po na mag antay nalang at maging patient, lalu na kung hindi pa naman lumalagpas sa 8- months ang processing. for sure naman po kung may kailangan pa ang embassy sa inyo ay cocontact po sila .. tatawag , mag eemail, o kaya nama'y magpapadala sulat. at kung sakali na lumagpas po sa 8-months ang processing dun na kayo tumawag o mag email para sa update, minsan po kasi pag parati tayo tumatawag at kumokontak sa office nila lalu na kung hindi panaman lagpas sa processing time ay... nakukulitan sila at minsay nakakabagal po ito sa pag process ng papers. kung meron po kayo mga kailngan ipaalam sa kanila katulad ng pag iba ng address nyo . contact no. o iba pa na may pagbabago na ma aapektuhan ang application ay kailangan po update po natin ang office... sa email o telephone/fax.

sa manila pag hiningi ang passport...mostly 2-4 months po bago ma confirm ang final desisyon...

kahirap mo talaga mag antay... pero yung mas mahirap yung mga 1-2 years na process parin (... be patient lang po at mag dasal parati.

@vinz and bonnadictus - sa family class din ba ang category ninyo. Kasi kung family class normally 6 mos lang ang processing. nakakafrustrate naman kung 2 years na ang waiting time ninyo. natatakot 2loy ako na baka ganyan din mangyari sa applications namin.

yes, it's under Family class po. We are just praying as they said it's a case to case basis. As of now, the lastes update of my application is they advise me already to pay for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee last Dec. 22, 2009.

what is the cause of the delay? kailan nila kinuha ang passports nyo? my husband paid the fee prior to the submition of the application. ang binayaran nyu ba ay another fee aside from the application? I am confuse now. Did you ask help from your MP? are u applying inland? kasi pag inland it takes years talaga. I applied inland 15 years ago. nainip ako kaya umuwi ako sa Pinas. Anyway, update us of your status.

wag kayong maiinip dyan,,, relax lang kayo, wag nyo focus masyado sarili nyo sa application, hayaan nyo lng yan, it will soon come in the right time.

ako nga last sept 2008 pa nag apply PR LC2 Family class at start in process nov 19,2008 'til now wla pa rin pagbabago. hinintay pa rin ang mdecal rquest from CIC manila,

22-26 mos ang processing nila, pero meron din nmn na mas swerte ,,, weather weather lng. sabi ng mga senior dito sa forum : "just wait, and have fun in the rain" marami pa kayong magawa while waiting.

I don't have an idea why it was delayed. They just ask more documents twice. They had my passport last March 2009. The Right of Permanet Residence Fee which is C$490 is part of whole payment for the processing but we didn't paid yet not we are advise to do so. As per lawyer who helped us we don't know if we go denied and the refund of RPRF will take 1 year. So she told us not to pay until we are told to so because that's the indication that your papers is ok once u got advise to pay for it.
