Physical Presence Calculation For W1 Visa Vs Work permit

Hello All,
Looking for some help/advice while filling up details on the physical presence calculator.

I have been physically present in Canada and working since 2011 on Work Permit/Visa
I moved to my country in June 2012 (I had a valid work Permit until April 2013)
I moved back to Canada in Feb 01 2013 (Applied for a new visa with valid work Permit until April 2013)

My eligibility period starts from Oct 11 2012 and now, my question when I fill up the Physical Presence Calculator, what should I enter as my start time with "Canadian temporary resident Status" before I became a permanent resident.

1. Should it be Oct 11 2012, since I had a valid Work Permit though I was not physically present in Canada since July 2012 and entered the country back on a job on Feb 01 2013?

2. Should it be Feb 01 2013 when I landed with a renewed Work Visa (on existing Work Permit), since I was not employed here in Canada between July 2012 until Feb 01 2013?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

1. I put Oct 11, 2012 even though my study permit was issued way before that... I am a little nervous about it, but that's when our eligibility started so that's what I put... On the application itself, where they ask you for your permits though, I put the date of issue of my study permit.

I just did not want to f up the calculation so I started with the eligibility date...
