PGWP implied status, expired SIN, and a job offer

Hey folks,

I will be applying for the PGWP before the expiry of my study permit, which means that I will be on implied status.
Based on the information down below, IRCC allows me to start working while I am waiting for my PGWP if I am currently allowed to work off campus, which I am.

https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1507&top=15

However, my SIN number is expiring along with my study permit so I will have an invalid SIN while on implied status, although my 'future' SIN will be the same one that I currently have.

Now, I found the info saying that you are allowed to work on implied status with the expired SIN if you are extending your work permit:

https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1505&top=17

Does this apply to those who transition from study permit to PGWP? I got a full-time job offer in 'essential services' that starts after the expiry of my study permit. To rephrase the question, am I allowed to start a new job while on PGWP implied status with the expired SIN?

p.s. tried calling both IRCC and Service Canada to no avail, the waiting time is like 1 hour

If you are on implied status you may continue to do whatever you were permitted to on the expiring status. Normally, you would be able to transition directly to full time work. By extension of logic I would take that to mean that the SIN provisions pertaining to applying for a PGWP are the same.
