Permanent residence process question

Hello friends,

when my wife checks her permanent residence card status online, we see this message:

Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on February 3, 2015. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you or if quality assurance is required, made available for you to pick up at a CIC office.

Does this mean we have to go pick it up or is everything okay?

Please help!!!!!how long does it take before we can get our PR? Its just 6 months after the immigration received our application,and each time ive checked the status is still "application received ----------". Kindly tell us hows the processing going because we want to work already.

FYI: We are survivors from the typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda).we lost everything and starting a new life here in Canada. Hope we can seek help coz its really hard. Thank you and God bless!
