Period of time between 'Processing Time' and 'Decision Made'

I was wondering how long does it usually take between: 'We started processing your application' and 'Decision made'

My Is

1) We received your application on March 2014.
2) we start to processing your application on April 2015.
3) Medical result have been received.

According to my case.

Based on what I have seen, in the best case scenario less than 1 month, if you pass medical and everything else is also passed, and you don't need any security check.
Or at least 2 months if you have to complete a comprehensive "security check" after that (check you GCMS notes).
Add more time to it if there are other issues with your application.

About 8 months in my case.
No extra documents required.
Entire process was one year exactly
Got mine in July 10th 2015.

It has been 5 months since my application has changed to "In Process". No words from CIC yet.
