how much time will NDVO take to issue visa after receiving documents? please comment.

It is such a question , answer to which is unpredictable under the present scenario. Even those who had submiited docs/ppts after their MRS in june/july-2012,are still waiting to get their ppts back with visa stamps + relative COPRS.
Now that we are into the last leg of our jouney, we have got to be little pateint to see dawn of the much awaited day , however difficult it may be. May be, first half of the year 2013 is alone blessed with that particular day for us nd our all those bretheren/sisters (THE PREJUNERES) who are yet to get their MRS.
let us pray for each others.

I believe (and pray) that people would start getting passports with visas from January 1, 2013, as new visa quota would start.

Hi Everyone,

Just a analysis of the timelines of the post of few of the forum members disclose few trends:

1 - Background check is being done after MR for applicant who applied after June 2010.
2 - Applicants who applied after June 2010 tend to get their visa within 3 months of the medicals.
3 - Issuance of visa is faster in other VO than NDVO.
4 - There is a downward trend of issuing visa since September 2012 even for applicants who applied after June 2010, may because the visa quota is exhausted.

From a reliable source I got to know that visa quotas are updated on 15th of December every year. So lets hope that all those who are waiting for their visa post medicals and sending of PP and RPRF since June 2012, will get their visas by January. There is a long holiday at CHC so things will be slow for 2 weeks.

Hope this post helps all to relight their hopes.

I have a question. Is the Background check done only for the ppl who applied after June, 2010 (MI 2) or for MI (i.e. Pre Juners) also?
