PCC on renewed passport - Urgent

Hi,

My passport will expire in July 2018 and I have to submit my application before 12 July 2017 as that is the last day for my ITA expiry.
All my PCC and medical are done on the current passport. I am planning to get my passport renewed and also submit it with my application.
Does anyone knows if I need to get the PCC again on my new passport?

Your profile and application will be based on the passport number valid on the day you submit your application. Once you get a new passport, inform CIC of the change in the situation. You do not need to get a new PCC and medicals.
